Christine Bollow is a queer, disabled Filipina litizen who currently lives in Tucson. She’s co-owner of Loyalty Bookstores, a Black, Queer, and Asian owned indie bookstore. Christine is also a book consultant for Awesome Con in Washington, DC and Rose City Comic Con in Portland, OR, and is the founder and director of Liwanag Filipino Lit Fest DC. Christine was a Fiction Juror for the 2024 Kirkus Prize and judged for the 2025 Lambda Literary Awards for Bisexual Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry. She is a recipient of the 2024 Duende-Word BIPOC Bookseller Leadership Award and a 2022 Publishers Weekly Star Watch Honoree.

Christine currently serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the American Booksellers Association, has chaired the Summer/Fall 2023 Indies Introduce panel, and previously served on the ABA's Bookseller Advisory Council. Christine has moderated countless author events in addition to being a frequent guest on literary panels and bookish podcasts, such as The Stacks, Libro.fm’s Podcast, Our Opinions are Correct, Bookmergency, and Burned by Books. Her book recommendations have been featured in multiple publications, including The Washington Post, Electric Literature, LitHub, Buzzfeed Books, and Reader’s Digest, and in the book Bibliophile: Diverse Spines. She curated the list of book titles for Ideal Bookshelf’s 2024 art print by Jane Mount to celebrate Filipinx literature for Filipino American History Month.

Before finding her calling in bookselling, Christine was a quality control editor for audiobooks, a Realtor, Pilates teacher, and a professional dancer and actor. Besides reading, Christine loves museums, jigsaw puzzles, baby animal videos, collecting different editions of Pride & Prejudice, astrology memes (she's a Libra!), and checking things off of her to-do list.
